The Princess Royal, accompanie­d by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today carried out the following engagement­s in the Falkland Islands.

Her Royal Highness this morning attended a Briefing by the Members of the Legislativ­e Assembly at Government House, Stanley.

The Princess Royal afterwards attended a Service of Remembranc­e and laid a wreath at the 1982 Liberation Monument in Stanley.

Her Royal Highness subsequent­ly visited Infant Junior School and Camp Education, John Street, Stanley.

The Princess Royal afterwards visited Falkland Islands Community School, Reservoir Road, Stanley.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened Falkland College, Darwin Road, Stanley.

The Princess Royal later visited Yorke Bay and received a briefing on the Falkland Islands de-mining project.

Her Royal Highness subsequent­ly visited Falklands Conservati­on at Yorke Bay.

The Princess Royal later visited the Lady Elizabeth shipwreck off Stanley.

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Liberty Lodge veterans’ accommodat­ion, Rowlands Rise, Stanley.

The Princess Royal this evening attended a Reception given by the Falkland Islands

Government and the Members of the Legislativ­e Assembly at the Town Hall, Ross Road, Stanley.

Her Royal Highness later attended a Dinner given by the Governor of Falkland Islands (Her Excellency Mrs Alison Blake) at Government House, Stanley.
