Wait for Friday, Albanian Channel migrants urged

Albanian Channel migrants have been urged by smugglers to delay their journeys to the UK until Friday as bad weather will stop crossings until then.

The traffickers are advertising “safe passage” for Nov 25 as they urged migrants not to be tempted by cheaper prices to make a more dangerous journey before then.

The move came as an illegal Albanian migrant deported after paying £3,500 to be smuggled into the UK by small boat urged others not to follow in his footsteps because of the “unimaginable horror” of the “incredibly scary” journey.
