Rowling backs heckler over SNP gender reform

-

JK Rowling has praised a heckler who confronted one of Nicola Sturgeon’s ministers about the SNP’S gender reforms, claiming she “spoke for women the length and breadth of Scotland”. The Harry Potter author backed Elaine Miller, who yesterday accused Shona Robison of treating women with contempt. Ms Miller, a physiotherapist, stood up in the public gallery at a Holyrood committee hearing yesterday to accuse Ms Robison of failing to address women’s concerns. Ms Miller left the hearing after her verbal attack on the minister.
