Baths are best

sir – I quite agree with Rowan Pelling (Comment, January 10) on the benefits of a bath over a shower. I have a hot bath virtually every evening, during which I listen to heavy rock music and forget the worries of the world.

When I was a young dad, after a day at work, the joy of washing my three kids in the bath before they went to bed and reading them a children’s story was priceless.
