Mcintyre’s big ratings justify TV comeback

- Michael Mcintyre’s Big Show,

back for the first time since the pandemic, has brought in millions of viewers again.

It returned to BBC One on Saturday evening for the first episode of its sixth series with an average audience of 4.4million, peaking at 4.9million, according to ratings.

Over on ITV, The Masked Singer averaged 4.1 million viewers and peaked at 4.8 million.

Comedian Mcintyre, 46, was joined at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane by presenter and TV personalit­y Rylan Clark, DJ Joel Corry and singersong­writer Tom Grennan to host a show for the first time since 2019.
