Gunman looked at incel websites before killing

A gunman who embarked on a serial killing browsed incel websites shortly before, an inquest has been told.

Jake Davison, 22, gunned down five people – his mother Maxine, a threeyear-old girl with her father and two other strangers – using his licensed shotgun, in Plymouth, Devon.

After walking home from work on the afternoon of Aug 12 2021, the day of the shooting, Davison browsed sites aimed at the misogynistic “involuntary celibates” (incel) online community, Supt Rachel Bentley told the inquest.

He also browsed Onlyfans, a subscription site largely for pornography, and looked up gender detransitioning.
