‘Terrorist’ had blueprint to make 3D print guns

A suspected Islamist terrorist was caught with instructio­ns on how to make 3D print guns, a court has heard.

Abdiwahid Abdulkadir Mohamed, 31, was arrested at Heathrow airport on Wednesday and appeared at Westminste­r magistrate­s’ court charged with six counts of possessing documents likely to be useful for committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

The charges relate to documents found on a device seized when he was first detained in February last year.

Police also found another device which allegedly contained more than 300 more documents on how to produce firearms.
