Met police officer admits sexual activity with child

A Met Police officer is facing jail after he admitted a series of child sex offences.

Pc Hussain Chehab, 22, attached to the North Area Basic Command Unit (BCU) was suspended after being arrested in July 2021.

On Tuesday at Wood Green Crown Court he admitted four counts of sexual activity with a child and one of sexual communication with a child. He also admitted making a total of 882 indecent images of children. All of the offences are said to have taken place between 2019 and 2021.

Chehab, from Barnet, was bailed ahead of sentencing on condition he has no contact with anyone under 18.
