Police hunt knifeman after Harrods attack
Police are hunting a knife-wielding assailant after a shopper in Harrods was stabbed in what is thought to have been an attempted watch robbery.
Customers in the Knightsbridge department store described seeing a pool of blood on the floor following the incident on Saturday evening.
The stabbing is believed to have taken place close to the Louis Vuitton section at about 7.30pm.
Witnesses described seeing a fight break out before a man was slashed across the arm. The suspect then fled the scene and last night was still being hunted by police. The victim was taken to hospital but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
