Coronation guest list

sir – Reports that the King wants the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to attend the Coronation are upsetting many loyal Commonwealth subjects. These are the people who maintain the support he needs in order to continue reigning our countries.

After two years of attacks on and mistruths about the Royal family and the institution of monarchy, it would not be at all appropriate for the Sussexes to be at the Coronation. It is a Commonwealth service and not just for the British. Their attendance would take the spotlight away from the King and turn it into a media circus, which is what the Sussexes would, no doubt, want to happen.

Let us only focus on the Coronation service so it can be a unifying event for all of us in the Commonwealth.
