Spanish police take up search for rugby star
A Spanish crime unit has taken over the “disturbing” case of Levi Davis, the missing British rugby player.
Mr Davis, 24, was last seen leaving a pub in Barcelona on October 29 after returning from a trip to Ibiza.
He officially remains a missing person, but his case has been handed to a specialist crime unit for investigation, the BBC reports. Catalan Police said the case contained “disturbing” issues with “no logical explanation”.
In a voice message he sent to Candice Balfour, his sister, three days before he went missing, which she shared with The Daily Telegraph, Mr Davis tells his family: “I’ll catch you guys soon, 100 per cent.”
