The Scottish Bridge Union holds national online matchpoint pairs events in the evening on most Saturdays, writes Julian Pottage, Bridge Correspondent. These sessions are Swiss Pairs with pairs playing others with similar scores. The highest score on a Saturday Swiss in February was 69.11% achieved by J. Hamilton and A. Macdonald on the 11th. The SBU also holds a Bronze Brunch pairs earlier on a Saturday. The highest score in these sessions in February was 75.00% achieved by both F. Hall and S. Hall and by T. Peowrie and W. Iles on the 25th. On a Sunday the SBU holds a Teatime Individual. The highest score during February was 67.36%, achieved by Helen Mccormac on the 26th.
