Last week, writes Julian Pottage, Bridge Correspondent, the highest scores each day in the English Bridge Union’s open 12-board online matchpoint duplicate pairs games were as follows:

Monday: 69.62% scored by Bob Edmonds and Martin Silverman in Game 1 (2 pm).

Tuesday: 73.01% scored by Ann Clarke and Roger Fellows in Game 2 (3.30 pm).

Wednesday: 78.98% scored by Liz Commins and David Stevenson in Game 1.

Thursday: 75.46% scored by Christine Child and Nichola Cockerill-smith in Game 2.

Friday: 81.73% scored by Bill Pencharz and Jerry Cope in Game 1, the second highest score being 81.53% by Naomi Gibbs and Mike Rawlins in Game 3 (7.30pm).

Saturday:

73.12% scored by James Lee and Gad Chadha in Game 1.

Sunday: 71.43% scored by Clive Stops and an Advanced BBO Bot in Game 3.
