Rude awakening

SIR – My first lesson in sex education (Leading Article, March 8) was delivered by a uniformed chief petty officer armed with a billiard cue as a pointer and supported by an aging Aldis projector.

For 45 minutes he proceeded to talk us through “parts of the female body” (the female version).

My fellow 13-year-old pupils and I found it such an unsavoury experience that sex was put on hold for a good few years.
