Trumbo (2015) AMC, 11.10pm ★★★

A sturdy biopic which tells the story of Dalton Trumbo, a member of the Hollywood Ten (a group of film industry members who denounced Mccarthyism). It follows Trumbo (Bryan Cranston) as he and the other writers are blacklisted in the 1950s – and his fight against the injustice. Liberties are taken with history; the real Trumbo deserved better. Helen Mirren co-stars.
