Astrologer Mystic Meg dies after short illness

-

Margaret Lake, also known as Mystic Meg, has died aged 80.

The astrologer, who rose to fame with her weekly National Lottery predictions in the 1990s, passed away after a short illness. The horoscope reader wrote for The Sun for almost 23 years. The paper reported that she was admitted to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, west London, last month suffering from flu and that she died in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Dave Shapland, her agent of 34 years, told The Sun: “She was Britain’s most famous astrologer by a million miles. Nobody came close to Meg in that respect.”
