Body found in search for man missing three years

A body has been found in connection with the three-year disappearance of a father-of-two, police said last night.

Jamie Moreno, 48, has been missing from his home in Cardiff since March 23 2020. His sister, Nilsa Foster, described his disappearance as out of character.

In a statement last night, South Wales Police announced that a body had been discovered by members of the public in woodland in Circle Way East in Llanedeyrn, Cardiff.

A spokesman for the force said: “Formal identification of the body has not yet been carried out as inquiries are on-going at the scene.

“The family of Jamie Moreno are being supported by specialist officers.”
