You can’t knock Jamie Oliver’s ambitions in this series – even if the results end up looking, inevitably, a little budget. A little budget, however, is what Oliver is dealing with as he rustles up ultra-thrifty takes on meatball kebabs and crispy pork noodles, while showing you what you can do with a quick raid of the store cupboard, veg drawer and freezer. It’s undeniably ingenious stuff.
