The King, accompanied by The Queen Consort, this afternoon attended the Commonwealth Service in Westminster Abbey and was received by the Dean of Westminster (the Very Reverend Dr David Hoyle) and the Commonwealth Secretarygeneral (the Baroness Scotland of Asthal).

Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence were also present.

The King and The Queen Consort this evening gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace on the occasion of Commonwealth Day at which The Prince of Wales, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence were present.
