A copy of the first world atlas compiled by an Englishman is expected to fetch between £12,000 and £15,000 at Chiswick Auctions today. John Speed’s A Prospect of the Most Famous Parts of the World was bound together with his Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine in 1676.
