Jogging with dogs

sir – Jeremy Hunt has gone down another notch in my estimation, after I saw your photograph (March 15) of him jogging with his dog.

When walking my dog, I dislike seeing other dogs pounding along just to keep up with their owners who are running or cycling. Dogs want to walk, sniff and do other things, not be constantly on the move.

I also find that such dogs, because they never meet other dog owners or dogs, are often not well socialised. Chris King
