VICTORIA BECKHAM has revealed her 11-year-old daughter is banned from wearing make-up in public.

Harper is said to be “obsessed with make-up” and “there isn’t a single product in Sephora or Space NK that she doesn’t know”, Beckham told The Sunday Times Style magazine. Despite this, the youngest daughter of Victoria and husband David, is not allowed to wear make-up outside the house even though Harper has reportedly perfected the art of “contouring”, her mother said.

Beckham said going to Space NK is a special after-school treat for her 11-year-old. However, the former Spice Girl’s stringent approach to her child’s beauty regime is not reflected in her marriage.

David has never seen Victoria without her eyebrows drawn-on throughout their partnership, she claimed. The cosmetics devotee said putting her brows on is the first thing she does after waking up.

Beckham collaborated with Estée Lauder in 2016 on a range of beauty products, the success of the which revealed an appetite for Victoria Beckham products that convinced her to pursue a solo venture. In 2019, Victoria Beckham Beauty was launched.

The former singer, who has 32 million social media followers, said she takes a hands-on approach to her business interests, even admitting she can be somewhat anal.

“I am a complete pain in the neck. I am across everything from formulas to size of pigments,” she told the magazine, adding that despite it being common for celebrities to have a licence deal and to rubber stamp products with their names, she has day-to-day involvement with her brands.

Beckham claimed to have avoided Botox, insisting she has no interest in the treatment.

She said: “I’m 49 and don’t have a hang up about it. I want to look like a good version of myself, rested and fresh.”
