Teenager in court charged with satanic terror attack plan
A TEENAGER has appeared in a Westminster court accused of plotting a satanic terror attack against a homeless person.
Cameron Finnegan, 18, was arrested last month following an investigation by detectives from the Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) unit.
The defendant, who is from Horsham, in West Sussex, is accused of being a member of an extremist Rightwing Satanic online organisation called 764. The organisation is alleged to have links to a Nazi occult group known as the Order of Nine Angels.
The groups have been linked to several terror investigations in Britain and the United States amid allegations that they promote murder, sexual abuse, self-harm, and terrorism.
It is alleged that when the teenager was arrested, he was in possession of a terrorist “kill guide” and was plotting to attack a homeless person who was living in a tent. Mr Finnegan, who lives with his sister and adoptive parents in a £1 million home, was also arrested on suspicion of possessing indecent images of a child.
He was arrested on March 26 and charged yesterday.
Mr Finnegan was charged with one count of preparation of terrorist acts, and one count of possessing information likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.
He has also been charged with one count of possessing indecent images of a child. Appearing at Westminster magistrates’ court yesterday, Mr Finnegan spoke only to confirm his name, his date of birth and home address.
He was remanded in custody until his next court appearance, which is due to be at the Old Bailey on April 12.
The Order of Nine Angels was founded in the UK in the 1970s and has links to Nazism, starting its calendar from the birth of Adolf Hitler.
