Planning for 139 new homes at The Wisp

-

The builder has submitted plans to extend their existing site at The Wisp with an application for an additional 104 private two-bedroom apartments and 35 affordable apartments.

Set within a 20-minute drive of Edinburgh city centre, the new proposals are a response to high demand for suburban living.

A range of different floorplans for the apartments are proposed with each catering for the needs of the modern-day home-owner.

Featuring high build quality throughout and high levels of energy efficiency it’s hoped this will help keep running costs low.

There is an abundance of open green space and the New Hunters Hall Recreation Park is just a short walk away.

Springfield Central Sales Director, Tricia Malek, said: “Our initial selection of homes in this area has proved to be extremely popular, with only five homes left for sale. The speed at which these have been snapped up shows a clear demand for suburban properties in the area. Our new proposals will help us to continue to build great quality homes for those who are looking to buy close to the city.”
