Funding for universities tackling global challenges

EDINBURGH is one of two Scottish universities which will receive funding from the UK Government to support its projects tackling some of the world’s greatest challenges. Over £17.5 million in funding will be paid over to lead a Multi-Hazard Urban Disaster Risk Transitions Hub. This will look to reduce disaster risk for the poor by building better resilience into urban planning.
