The Young Placechangers Ideas Fund

APPLY for a grant to change your place for the better! The fund supports Youth Groups to engage with others in their communities to take action to improve the environmental quality, biodiversity, playability and vibrancy of neighbourhoods.

Young Placechangers are young people between the ages of 12-25 who want to change their local environment for the better. This could be their local greenspace, street, community centre garden, whole village, neighbourhood or town. They lead community placemaking projects in their local communities.

You can apply to the Ideas

Fund at any time. Seed corn grant applications for up to £500 are awarded at a rolling basis. However, there are set points when Ideas Fund applications (up to £3000) are reviewed and awarded.

The deadline for Round 2 Ideas Fund applications is 28 February 2019
