YOTEL scores football first hosting live podcast of The Terrace

YOTEL Edinburgh is ensuring Scottish sports fans hit the back of the net with their football knowledge as it plays host to one of the country's leading podcasts.

The innovative hotel team is inviting fans of the game to join them for a live episode of top Scottish football podcast, The Terrace on Thursday 5 March 2020.

The podcast will be recorded in the space created downstairs in the new hotel.

The event is the latest in

YOTEL Edinburgh’s series of free events, aptly named YO-TELLs, that showcase a variety of the smartest, interesting and most fun thinkers in Scotland.

Hosted by radio and sports presenter, Barrie Wilkins, the event will give sports fans the opportunity to hear insights from the leading sports pundits as they share their take on Scotland’s current football landscape.

Craig Fowler, host of The Terrace, said: “We first launched The Terrace in 2007 and since then we’ve seen fans turning more and more to podcasts as a way of keeping up to date with the latest news from the pitch.

“We’re always looking for ways we can think out of the box with The Terrace and hosting a live discussion in the stunning Imaginex events space at YOTEL Edinburgh seemed like a great way to do something a bit different and engage with our listeners.”
