Bad times won't last sing it out loud

-

Scottish children’s music charity Fischy Music are keeping children amused during the lockdown with weekly Online Assemblies. They have now been watched by thousands of children, families and teachers looking for some good home schooling resources. Songs such as, 'Bad times won’t last', are being watched and sung along to by thousands of children, many of whom sing them regularly at school and feel a sense of belonging through song.

Stephen Fischbacher, Creative Director of Fischy Music, said: “Many of our songs give children permission to express a range of emotions, both ‘comfortable’ ones and ‘uncomfortable’ ones as well. "This is so important for good mental health. I really believe that singing songs, listening to songs and writing songs are hugely beneficial in helping many people manage their emotions in these really challenging days."

“Anyone watched @Fischy Music Assembly yet? I’d recommend it for an uplifting singalong (or listen if that’s more your thing). Includes some favs ‘Hello’ ‘Special Kind of Heroes’ and I really liked ‘Someone is with you’.” - Brunstane Primary School. www.fischytunes.com
