New Scotmid store for Stockaree
The Coop has agreed to lease three units at the new Raeburn Place development owned by the Raeburn Place Foundation, and the new shop will open at the end of November.
The shop will be fuelled by
100% renewable electricity, and the shoppers with Costa coffee. There will be a bakery, self-service tills and hot food with fresh healthy produce. There will be an off-licence, ready meals and pizzas and of course Fairtrade products. This is a £740,000 investment in Stockbridge and will create 15 new jobs.
Graeme Cranston, Co-op Area Manager, said: “We're delighted to have the opportunity to make such a significant investment in Stockbridge - our new store will have a great look and feel, and we are looking forward to serving people living and working in the area.

That’s why we also want customers to know that they can become a Member of their Co-op, and that they can make a difference to local causes every time they swipe their Membership card when buying own branded products.
