There’s plenty to see and do at The Game Fair 2017, the largest outdoor countryside-themed event in the world
What to see and do at The Game Fair, the largest countryside-themed event in the world. By Sarah Pratley
The Game Fair is the biggest weekend of the summer for fieldsports and this year it has a new location and partner. For the first time, it will occupy the grounds of Hatfield House, the stunning home of the seventh Marquess of Salisbury. Just 22 minutes from London by train, the 10,000-acre estate will host the largest outdoor, countryside-themed event in the world from 28-30 July.
Also new this year, The Game Fair and Time Inc. (UK) Ltd – the publisher of this title as well as many other popular sporting periodicals – are joining forces, uniting the fieldsports fraternity’s favourite titles with its most famous summer event.
The Field will be the official media partner of The Field Kitchen Theatre, where you can learn how to cook your game like a pro and meet the top game chefs.
There is much to do, a trip around the showground necessitating a five-mile walk, so ensure you don’t miss The Field’s stand (G956). Here you can meet the editorial team, pick up a complimentary issue and renew your subscription. Take advantage of our show offer: save up to 40% and receive a free gift. We’ll see you there.
