The magic number

A trio of fox-red labs in our October issue had Facebook Fielders debating the ‘magic number’. Many agreed it was three, sharing pictures of smart working trios. “Twos company, three’s a crowd,” one argued. Another proved the point with an irresistible brace of fox-red lab puppies. “Lucky seven here,” shared one, though this was beaten by a nine-strong pack and, amusingly:

“2.5: Harris, fox-red working labrador, Wilf, yellow show lab; Penelope, mini dachshund.”
