WELL SCHOOLED
It was with interest that l read your article on shooting at Milton Abbey [Countryside studies at Milton Abbey school, November issue]. From 1957 to 1962 I was a student there under the headmastership of Hughie Hodgkinson. He used to keep my 12-bore at his house and arranged for juniors to drive Hambro woods over us. We all finished with a lovely tea. Hughie had a gun in our
home shoot in Woolland, though did not over contribute to the bag.
