Favourite jacket needs a rewax

The Field - - Country Estate | Queries -

QI visit the UK one or twice a year for the bloodstock sales. I always bring my favourite wax coat, which is no longer waterproof. Where can I have this rewaxed while I am here? I usually stay for around three weeks.

AFD, Italy

AReproofing of a wax jacket can be done by Johnsons The Cleaners, which offers a specialist service whereby the jacket is sent off to be rewaxed. This takes approximately 10 to 14 days and costs in the region of £62 for a traditional, medium-length jacket. Johnsons has branches across the country, visit: www.johnsoncleaners.com
