PICTURE PERFECT

The photograph of an elegant lady tackling a ditch while hunting sidesaddle in Ireland sparked much admiration on Instagram, with many people praising her poise, her “perfect position” and, of course, the “brilliant horse”. Many also wondered who the “daredevil” equestrian might be: their collective sleuthing eventually yielded results and the sister of the fearless rider came forward to identify her sibling. It was Aoife Bakonyi Byrne, one of The Field’s Sporting Dianas.
