A PAPER WITH WILDFLOWER APPEAL

-

Q I follow your column regularly, it has been most instructive. I wonder if you can help me, albeit not a fieldsports query. I am on the hunt for some wallpaper, depicting cow parsley, dandelions or thistles. I have searched all the major companies but the designs are either too busy or large, repeated designs. I am looking for something calm and gentle. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.

A I see from the list you supplied that you have not viewed wallpaper designs from Little Greene. The firm has a design from The National Trust – it was originally a small border design, kept at Felbrigg Hall in Norfolk, but has been scaled up to make a wallpaper. It depicts silhouetted stems, flowerheads of yarrow and sow-thistle. The Achillea paper is available in five gentle colours – aurora, twilight, dew, nighttide and brume. Each roll is 3.25m in length and costs £216 a roll. View the paper at: littlegreene.com
