REEL IT IN
The Wild Trout Trust is holding its annual auction from 18 to 27 March and there is plenty to tempt bidders. Among the top lots is a day for two rods on the Haddon estate, guided by Andy Buckley and complete with one night’s dinner, B&B accommodation and packed lunch from the Peacock at Rowsley (guide £955). The auction lots include more days, fishing tackle, literature, art and expertly tied flies. The catalogue can be downloaded from auction.wildtrout.org (from 17 February), with lots available to browse online from 1 March.
