MARCUS PLEDGES GOALS
MARCUS PEDERSEN has vowed to bring some international pedigree to Barnsley’s striking department.
Pedersen, capped twice by Norway, has signed a season-long loan deal from Dutch side Vitesse.
And after being convinced to make the move to England by Tykes boss David Flitcroft, the 23-yearold has promised goals.
“I like it when a manager looks at each person as an individual and in David Flitcroft I can see he is that type of person,” said Pedersen, who will be joined at Oakwell by former Celtic winger Paddy McCourt.
“First and foremost I am a striker, I like to get in the box and attack the ball and I like to score goals,” Pedersen says.
