GRAHAM HAS MIXED MEMORIES
DANNY GRAHAM is hoping his reunion with Middlesbrough proves a knockout of a different sort after the striker rejoined his first club on a deadline-day loan from Sunderland.
The 28-year-old’s last goal for Boro came nine years ago against Charlton in the Premier League – but he admits the memory is a blank after he received a blow to the head in the same game.
“I was knocked out cold so I don’t remember too much about it,” said Graham.
“Hopefully for my next Boro goal I will be more alert and have a chance to celebrate rather than being laid out on the deck.”
