Team mates

-

Alan Judge - Brentford winger

Best mate at the club? There’s Alan McCormack and Stuart Dallas – you could say the Irish contingent. But I get on well with quite a few people, so I couldn’t really name one that’s the best. We have a good bunch and a great atmosphere in the dressing room. Last to buy dinner? Richard Lee is supposed to be the last one to buy dinner a lot of the time. Generally we have not got too many tight ones, though. The FIFA king? I would nominate myself, but I think James Tarkowski is meant to be the best. But he always commentates on the game as he’s playing, so he puts you off during the match. He thinks he’s John Motson! Worst dresser? Nick Proschwitz because he doesn’t really care that much and I don’t think he would even be bothered that I said that! He’s got a few rivals who come in to training and try and show how good their gear is, while a few others come in in tracksuits. The dressing room DJ? Jonathan Douglas puts on a bit of music, but his choices are quite mellow. The kitman actually puts on a lot of our music – he has mostly the up-to-date ones and that’s good to get you going before a game. Andre Gray also likes to get involved. The most skilful? Alex Pritchard, who is on loan from Tottenham. He’s got very good technique and he’s very good with the ball at his feet, with a lot of step-overs in his locker. Moses Odubajo is up there as well. Late for training? Nick Proschwitz really pushes his luck. He’s always on his phone and gets there maybe a minute before training starts. Best cook? James Tarkowski is meant to be a good cook but I haven’t tried his cooking yet. In fact, I’ve yet to taste anyone’s cooking! First on the dancefloor? Moses Odubajo is an unbelievable dancer. You don’t want to be near him when he dances, because he will show you up. He’s very good. Most likely to disgrace themselves at the Christmas party? Last year it would have been George Saville when he was on loan from Chelsea, but this year it was Sam Saunders, who went to bed at nine o’clock on a Sunday. It was embarrassing! He didn’t have to be put to bed, he just went to bed himself! Worst tattoo? Alan McCormack has a cross, but I’ll give it to James Tarkowski who has a T-bone on his hip. He got that when he was younger. Never puts their phone down? Nick Proschwitz, Jonathan Douglas, Alan McCormack… take your pick. I’d have to say nearly everyone in the changing room has a phone in their hands. Going to make the best manager? Alan McCormack is doing his badges and I know he’s really into it. For the sheer amount of time he’s putting into it, I’m sure he will make an excellent manager. He’s doing a lot of coaching for the young lads at the moment and seems to be really dedicated.
