The Football League Paper

DREAM TEAM

CONOR COADY – The Huddersfield Town midfielder chooses his favourite XI, made up from players he has played with in his football career.

GOALKEEPERI

Alex Smithies – Huddersfield Town Alex is a top keeper and still very young, so he’s got a big career ahead of him. He’s already made over 200 appearances for Huddersfield, which is remarkable for a guy his age.

RIGHT BACKI

John Brayford – Sheffield United He’s a quiet lad but also an absolutely fantastic character and great guy to play with. He is a big part of that Sheffield United side and will really want to help them get back up to the Championship.

CENTRE BACKI

Jamie Carragher – Retired His record speaks for itself and he is a Liverpool legend. He was always a great help for me in training and around the club. I think he is brilliant as a pundit too, as he works great together with Gary Neville.

CENTRE BACKI

Harry Maguire – Hull City He fully deserved his move to the Premier League and I’m sure he will be a key man for Hull when he gets the chance. He’s a quality player and has got the talent to go very far in the game.

LEFT BACKI

Jack Robinson – Queens Park Rangers Before his injury he was having a fantastic season on loan with us and hopefully he will come back stronger. He is another promising former Liverpool player and is very good going forwards.

RIGHTI MIDFIELDI

Jonathan Hogg – Huddersfield Town He is an absolutely ridiculous talent and a good friend of mine. The way he can tackle players is just unbelievable – one of the best I have played with or against. He is also the best trainer at the club by a country mile and a good role model.
