MIKE LIFTS INJURY-HIT WOLVES

WOLVES manager Kenny Jackett believes loan signing Mike Williamson’s experience will be crucial.

Following injuries to Kortney Hause and Dominic Iorfa, Jackett responded by signing the 31-year-old defender from Newcastle.

“With the injury problems we have at the back, we are delighted to have brought in an experienced player like Mike,” Jackett said.

“Recognised experienced defenders have been at a premium, so we are delighted to add Mike to the group and believe he complements the players that we have here.”
