THE REAL LOFT IS FIT AND FIRING

BOSS Justin Edinburgh believes midfielder Doug Loft is ready to show the Gillingham fans what he is capable of after finally returning to full fitness.

The 28-year-old has been dogged by an Achilles problem since his switch from Port Vale in June 2014.

But Loft’s 89th-minute strike earned a point against Southend last weekend and Edinburgh believes it’s just the start.

“We have had glimpses of the true Doug Loft and I think we are going to see a lot more from him now,” he said.
