HEATON SALUTES DYCHE’S DYNASTY

- By Joshua Richards

TOM Heaton insists Sean Dyche deserves all the praise that comes his way after the Burnley boss celebrated three years in charge of the club on Friday.

Since arriving at Turf Moor, Dyche has endured a rollercoaster ride of emotions, helping the club into the Premier League only to be relegated from the promised land last season.

But one constant has been his man between the sticks with 29-year-old Heaton playing every league game since arriving at Burnley in July 2013 – and the club captain believes things can only get better under Dyche.

“It’s a great milestone for him and he’s been absolutely fantastic for this football club,” Heaton said.“I love playing for him and I hope that can continue for a long, long time.

“The evolution of the club has been really positive. The infrastructure of the club has been looked at as well as the team and the squad.

“It’s a real club to be reckoned with and a lot of credit goes to him and his staff for that.

“The important thing is we keep moving forwards.”
