EDINBURGH SO POSITIVE

-

JUSTIN EDINBURGH says he is excited by the size and potential of Northampton Town after taking the reins at Sixfields.

The former Gillingham manager took over on January 13, and oversaw his first game last Saturday – a 5-3 defeat to MK Dons.

Despite the result, Edinburgh said the mood was positive and players were determined to turn things around.

“I think I realised the size and potential of this football club when I walked out and saw 3,000 away fans last Saturday,” he said.

“The fans were fantastic, they really stuck with us, and the players responded to that.”
