Team mates
Best mate? I didn’t join too long ago, so I’m still forging friendships, to be honest, but everyone has been very welcoming so far. I played with Keshi Anderson last season when I was at Northampton, but I didn’t know anyone else coming into the side. Last to buy dinner? A tricky one. I think Ben Purkiss would be last to buy dinner. I don’t know a huge amount, but Ben seems like the careful type, so I reckon he might skip the bill. Worst dressed? The worst dressed I have seen so far has been Amine Linganzi. He has a very interesting repertoire of clothing, which mainly consists of camouflage. It’s slightly odd, but he seems to like it. He likes to make an effort most days. He gets a fair amount of stick, but he takes it all in his stride. It’s not my style – put it that way. Dressing room DJ? Lawrence Vigouroux or Reice CharlesCook. Between the two of them, they put on some interesting music at times. It wouldn’t be my genre, to be honest. From what I can gather, it’s some kind of Afro-beat. It’s educating me on stuff I have not listened to before. It’s not what I’d listen to in my spare time, but it seems to get the lads up for it. Always late for training? Harry Smith – he’s not always late, but I don’t think his timekeeping is as good as it could be. There’s a chance to appeal your fine if you get one. I reckon he’s been late the most since I joined. Teacher’s pet? Chris Hussey. He has a love/hate relationship with the coaching staff. He has a close relationship with our assistant manager (Ben Futcher). They have a touching friendship. First on the dancefloor? Hard to judge as we haven’t had a social yet, but judging by the dancing I’ve seen I reckon either Keshi Anderson or Lawrence Vigouroux. They are always dancing about. I’m waiting for the worm to come out, but nothing yet. Likely to disgrace himself at Christmas party? I wouldn’t know yet, but we’ll have to wait until the Christmas party this year to find out, I guess. FIFA king? I don’t play, but judging from the conversation people have about FIFA it’s quite popular in the camp. Chris Hussey, Harry Smith, Reice Charles-Cook and Lawrence Vigouroux all play and fancy themselves. It gets quite competitive between the lads, to be fair. Worst tattoos? The worst tattoos is an interesting one. One of the lads has a set of lips on his body, but I cannot give away who that is or where it is on his body. Likely to make the best manager? We’ve got quite a few experienced heads in the camp. I reckon John Goddard because he talks about football a lot. Whether football management is something he progresses into, I don’t know, but I like the way he sees the game of football, to be honest. He’s got a mature head on young shoulders.
