KLICH IS LINKED TO DUTCH RETURN
MATEUSZ Klich could be on his way out of Leeds after just six months, with manager Thomas Christiansen admitting he is well down the pecking order at Elland Road.
The Polish international arrived at Leeds from Twente in the summer but he is already being linked to a return to the Netherlands.
He has struggled to fit in at the Championship side, making just three league appearances before this weekend.
And, according to reports in Poland this week, the 27-year-old is attracting plenty of interest from Dutch clubs.
While Christiansen refused to say if he will be allowed to leave in January, he admitted that Klich’s lack of recent game time is because of the squad depth at Leeds.
He said: “He’s a defensive midfielder.
“This is his position on the pitch and, right now, I have three, four in that situation and I have to choose.
“We will talk about (whether he will stay).
“We still have a long time until January, many games and the things can change from one week to another.
“So this is why I need to have everyone focused and prepared for these changes which can come.”
