WALLACE SALUTE TO THE FANS
MILLWALL midfielder Jed Wallace believes the fans have played a big role in a season when the Lions surpassed expectations in their first year back in the Championship.
Neil Harris’ side have mounted a surprise push for the play-offs since New Year but took a hit in last week’s 3-0 home defeat by Fulham, despite a raucous crowd at The Den.
Wallace, 24, said: “I can’t imagine there are many teams at Millwall who have been applauded off the field after they’ve been beaten 3-0 at home.
“A big part of how successful we’ve been is down to the connection between players and fans.”
