OUTLOOK GLOOMY FOR NEIL

-

CARDIFF boss Neil Warnock was left fuming when his side’s game at Derby was called off last month due to snow surrounding Pride Park. And he wasn’t too happy after the Rams won Tuesday’s rearranged game. It looked like things were going to plan for Cardiff when Callum Paterson fired home on 28 minutes. But Derby stepped up a gear in the second half. Ex-Cardiff striker Cameron Jerome levelled in the 69th minute and then sub Matej Vydra rifled home on 82 minutes to put Gary Rowett’s men in front. Jerome completed the scoring at the death to lift Derby back into the play-off positions and leave secondplaced Cardiff just a point ahead of Fulham for the second automatic place. Barnsley fluffed the chance to climb out of the drop zone, going down 3-0 at Forest. Lee Tomlin, Ben Brereton and Apostolos Vellios got the goals.
