NEW ROLE SUITS ME – MASON

NIALL Mason is relishing his role at Doncaster.

The versatile 21-yearold has made the rightback slot his own under boss Grant McCann and is grateful to be given a chance.

Mason said: “I’m enjoying the right-back role, especially with the way we play. It’s a big part of what the manager wants to do.

“I’ve said before that playing in one position has allowed me to focus on consistency and keep improving my game.

“A lot of young players break through by filling in at different positions, so it gives you an opportunity to make an impact and stay in the team.”
