YOU CAN HAVE YOUR SAY ABOUT GAME’S DIRECTION

IN MY regular “Holt stop”, I’d like to pat Accrington Stanley owner Andy Holt and Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony on the back (not too hard) for their opposition to the idea of a Premier League Two. Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani came up with it. Holt and MacAnthony destroyed it. And they’re right of course, we need to have a think about the financial gap across the leagues, but that’s about supporting the whole of the pyramid structure. It’s what makes our game unique. On that note, I guess it’s down to what you think about the structure of football in this country. If you do have a thought, why not have a look at the FA’s grassroots football survey.
